We are excited to welcome Amanda Rankin to the staff of Adventure Outlet.  Amanda will be in the shop on Fridays & Saturdays and brings a wealth of paddling experience to our team.

Amanda has competed for Australia in both the Olympics and World Championships.  At one point she was ranked the top female kayaker in the country!  Her 6^th placing in a K4 in the Athens Olympics was, at that time, the best ever result for an Australian K4 crew.

She has twice won the prestigious Na Wahine O ke Kai in Hawaii, considered the World Championships for Outrigger Canoe racing.  Placed 3rd & 4th in the 24 hr Hells Bells Adventure Race and placed 2nd in the Australian Surf Lifesaving Ski final.

Amanda has worked in the retail industry for the last 3 years and has an extensive knowledge of the Mission, Ocean Kayak, Epic & Vajda range of kayaks.  Whether you’re after a recreational kayak, training ski, or racing kayak/ski come and have a chat to Amanda for truly professional advice!  Amanda also offers personalised kayak & surf ski coaching which we promote, and endorse, here at Adventure Outlet.
